I build production systems where the easy paths don't scale — and hold the line on performance, security, and observability.

Software engineer based in Aleppo with 3+ years of experience building scalable web applications, multi-tenant platforms, and real-time systems. My work spans backend architecture, system design, and full-stack product development using Laravel and Vue.js.

My background in data science includes NLP, computer vision, semantic search, and embedding-based systems. Today, I approach AI as a practical tool — applied when it solves real problems, improves user experience, and creates measurable value.

Beyond engineering, I co-founded a startup and am currently pursuing an MBA. Bilingual Semantic Search Engine

Keyword search on a bilingual e-commerce catalog was silently missing valid matches. Replaced it with a vector pipeline on multilingual-e5-large-instruct + Qdrant, embedding Arabic and English into a single shared space. Evaluated lighter models first; e5-large-instruct won on Arabic morphology and dialect handling. Cross-language retrieval, synonym tolerance, and misspelling resilience — all resolved at the embedding layer.

Production Workflow Automation

Brittle cron + shell-script pipelines were failing silently — no observability, no retries. Redesigned as event-driven n8n workflows: order-lifecycle notifications fan out to customer/store/warehouse on every state transition, and SLA-breach detection auto-escalates to department heads. Dead-letter queues, automatic retries, and a no-code UI included.

Wajab — Complaint Platform

Multi-tenant platform routing citizen complaints across government administrative levels — designed for concurrent load from day one. Tuned hot paths with Redis caching and Octane's persistent-worker model; validated at 500 concurrent users under JMeter before launch. Result: 30% reduction in API response time, sub-second p95 on core endpoints. Telegram bot added as a parallel entry point — citizens file without leaving the channel they already use.

ZOKA — Multi-tenant Marketplace

A single customer order can span multiple stores, currencies, and fulfillment actors — the complexity is invisible to the end user. Engineered an 8-stage order pipeline (split → warehouse routing → reassembly → dispatch → wallet crediting) with real-time state fanout to 5 actor types via Laravel Reverb. Dual-currency wallets (USD + SYP) credit stores atomically on delivery.
